SUMMARY:Upcycle Art with Junk Journaling Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to create journals affectionately known as “junk journals” from discarded packing materials\, cereal boxes\, file folders and junk mail envelopes. Turn trash to treasure with this fun and innovative method to make your very own handmade journal from discarded materials. All supplies provided by the instructor. \nWhat you will be using in class: Participants will be provided with junk mail envelopes\, lunch bags\, cereal boxes\, packaging materials\, assorted decorative and painted paper scraps and ephemera\, paint\, markers\, stencils\, stickers\, fabric pieces\, yarn\, rubber bands\, glue\, and scissors. \nWhat you will make and take home: Each participant will make at least 1 journal. \n___ \nPARTICIPATION \nThis In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. \nAPPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION  \nThis class is appropriate for Adults\, Kids and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.  \nCANCELATION & RESCHEDULING \nIt is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified. \nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class.
