This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \n🐲 Players will be playing the one shot: Heist Heist Baby!: In the bustling city of Waterdeep\, a shadowy underworld criminal known as Valerius Nightshadeseeks the ultimate prize: the Heart of Ice\, a priceless blue diamond. To secure this coveted gem\, he assembles a team of skilled individuals\, each with their own unique talents and secrets. Together\, this team of rogues and misfits must overcome personal conflicts and trust issues to accomplish their daring mission. Will they succeed in their audacious heist\, or will the secrets that bind them lead to their undoing? \n    \n✒️ Upon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out. This allows you to directly speak with the DM and establish what you are comfortable with in a Dungeons and Dragons game. \n🎨 What Will I Be Using?\nParticipants will be using character sheets\, dice and character models. \n🎁 What Should I Bring?\nParticipants will need to bring their own dice (or can purchase dice at the store for 15% off)\, and are encouraged to bring their own models if they have them. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Teens aged 16+ and Adults to participate in. \n🧑‍🏫 Who is Running this session?\nYour Dungeon Master is Carrie Lowther. \n \nI have been an artist for as long as I can remember\, transitioning into digital art world well over a decade ago. I’m largely self-taught and in addition to being a digital artist\, I am dungeon master for D&D. I’ve been doing that for a few years and love to let my players do some truly off the wall stuff. I live by the rule of cool! Between teaching and being a dungeon master\, I believe that people should be able to just throw themselves into whatever they are doing and enjoy what they create/discover. Learning to sew is a great life skill to have\, you can make your own repairs and adjustments\, as well as repurpose old clothes to turn them into one of a kind fashion. No sewing experience necessary. Bring one piece of clothing you would like to upcycle. If you have a sewing machine or sewing needles and materials from home you want to use you are welcome to bring in and use during this session. We will have some sewing materials and tools on hand for you to use and get creative. Allies are also welcome to join. \nThis event is in partnership with Out Montclair. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \n🐲 Players will be playing the one shot The Solstice Gala: Welcome\, Dear Players\, to the Seelie court’s Solstice Gala! Perhaps you’re a ranger or warlock who has harbored favor with an Archfey. Maybe you’re a native to the Fey wild looking to celebrate the Endless Sun. It’s possible\, even\, that you’re a mortal who has been whisked away and replaced by a changeling… who forgot they had a ticket to the Seelie Court’s largest party and now you’re filling their seat. Whatever the reason\, you have earned your way into Titania’s banquet celebrating the Fey Solstice\, when the Seelie Court welcomes continuous sun for the next century (in Fey time\, of course). Chaos is sure to ensue– it’s the Feywild\, after all. \nWe will be playing a fully home brewed one shot in D&D 5e with an emphasis on roleplaying. Characters are welcome to be any level 5-8 and we will be using the point buy system to build our sheets. While it may be tempting to play a level 8 bard with max charisma for a social one shot\, remember playing a low level fighter who can’t string elegance together to save their life might bring its own unique challenges and fun. Having a degree in Theatre\, Pompton! enjoys delving into character psyche and building narrative informed by her PCs’ stories and motivations. DESCRIPTION:The Eclectic Chic Boutique and Keep Creating Art Wellness Center proudly present “Resilience Through Art: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Expression”. Join us in a celebration of the diverse voices\, experiences\, and creativity of the LGBTQ+ community. \nCurated by Kristen Zachares and Mia Cohn of The Eclectic Chic Boutique\, this exhibition will feature a diverse collection of artwork created by LGBTQ+ artists\, highlighting personal stories\, joy\, struggle\, transformation\, and resilience through a wide range of artistic styles and mediums. From painting and illustration to mixed media and fiber arts\, the show aims to create an inclusive and welcoming space where art becomes both celebration and conversation. \n20% of art sales will donated to OutMontclair\, a local nonprofit providing community programing and organizers of Montclair’s iconic Montclair Pride event. Somewhere below the dark waves of The Blue Everlast lies the gigantic wreck of the Nasto. A 600ft ship that set sail 6 months ago but never returned. It promises a reward of the largest cache of treasure ever set to sea. Everything is peaceful until Barnaby “Lop-Ears”—a disgruntled ex-bard wearing a filthy rabbit disguise—decides to ruin the holiday. \n \n✒️ Upon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out. ECB will be providing a Junk Journaling Workshop during the Newark Museum of Art’s exhibition “Community Night: Journeys by Moonlight”. This new Socially Focused game mode exploded in popularity\, and is now the most popular way to play! Grab your wackiest decks and that bag of dice you use to track +1/+1 counters\, and get ready for the kinds bonds and memories that can only be forged across the gaming table! \nThis game session is also LGBTQAI+ and Neurodiverse Friendly. \nBe aware: While Commander is considered MtG’s most casual format\, that doesn’t make it the Simplest format.
