DESCRIPTION:Adventurers! Join us for a fun and fantastical one shot D&D campaign\, facilitated by a magically whimsical Drag Dungeon Master. We embrace the quirky\, the chaotic\, and the downright silly. No experience necessary\, we welcome players of all skill levels. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \n🐲 Players will be playing the one shot Lodge in the Forest: Pompton! the Queen\, a long time D&D nerd and horror movie fan\, invites you to a leisurely\, innocuous stay at her Lodge in the Forest™. Enjoy swimming in a crystal lake. Revel in childhood games like would you rather\, truth or dare\, or hide and seek. Perhaps a different game of truth or dare\, this one released a year later? Gather and recount childhood stories of clowns and janitors. However you may choose to enjoy your stay\, just don’t scream. This is a D&D 5e horror movie inspired one shot (and therefore may entail more character risk) for characters around 5th level. So bring your camp counselors\, your horror movie enthusiasts\, your escapers of death and join me on October 30th: I’d like to play a game. \n  \n✒️ Upon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out. This allows you to directly speak with the DM and establish what you are comfortable with in a Dungeons and Dragons game. \n🎨 What Will I Be Using?\nParticipants will be using character sheets\, dice and character models. \n🎁 What Should I Bring?\nParticipants will need to bring their own dice\, and are encouraged to bring their own models if they have them. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Teens aged 16+ and Adults to participate in. \n🧑‍🏫 Who is Running this session?\nYour Dungeon Master is Pompton! the Drag Queen. \n \nPompton! the Drag Queen (she/they) is a New Jersey based long time D&D player and dungeon master. She started playing with 3.5 and has maintained a more analog style of play\, often resorting to pencil and paper even in their online games. Having a degree in Theatre\, Pompton! enjoys delving into character psyche and building narrative informed by her PCs’ stories and motivations. She recognizes the limitations of D&D and welcomes the rule of cool\, so swing for the fences. After hearing of Eclectic Boutique’s hunt for a drag DM\, Pompton! We’re all about having a blast\, taking big risks\, and creating unforgettable memories on the neon-lit streets of Night City. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \n🐲 Players will be playing the one shot: Seeing Double: A trusted Fixer offers the Crew a dangerous mission. It pays 9\,000eb per person and comes with an operational budget of 1\,000eb each to spend on equipment – remember\, the Fixer expects any non-expendable gear purchased with that 1\,000eb to be returned when the mission is finished.\n“Got a job for you. New Britistan\, North Korea. A client with deep pockets wants a Fixer embedded in the local “government” killed. There’s several complicating factors. One. Information on the target is scant. Two. The hit has to be made in a tightly controlled area within a span of three weeks\, after which our window closes because the fiefdom’s warlord will return from abroad and security will tighten even further. Three. They can only smuggle you and limited equipment through the border. If you have a sewing machine or sewing needles and materials from home you want to use you are welcome to bring in and use during this session. You are also welcome to use a sewing machine in the studio. Allies are also welcome to join. \nA portion of the proceeds will be donated to Out Montclair.
