You’ll gain the skills and confidence to repair your own clothes\, saving them from the landfill and giving them a fresh start. Plus\, these skills can be used to mend thrift store finds\, transforming them into unique\, wearable pieces. By the end of the session\, you’ll have successfully repaired your own item and have the knowledge to continue your mending journey at home! \nWhat the instructor will provide: We’ll supply all the necessary tools and materials\, including needles\, a variety of thread colors\, and fabric scraps for patching and practice. \nWhat to bring: Just bring an item of clothing you’d like to repair – whether it’s a favorite pair of pants\, a shirt\, a skirt\, or a jacket. SUMMARY:Transition Your Wardrobe Sewing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us and learn basic sewing and design techniques to update your wardrobe to match your gender identity and style! Learning to sew is a great life skill to have\, you can make your own repairs and adjustments\, as well as repurpose old clothes to turn them into one of a kind fashion. No sewing experience necessary. Bring one piece of clothing you would like to upcycle. If you have a sewing machine or sewing needles and materials from home you want to use you are welcome to bring in and use during this session. SUMMARY:Game Nights: Dungeons and Dragons
DESCRIPTION:Adventurers! Join us for a fun and fantastical one shot D&D campaign. We embrace the quirky\, the chaotic\, and the downright silly. Expect unexpected twists and hilarious roleplaying moments. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a curious newcomer\, come join the fun! No experience is necessary\, and we welcome players of all skill levels. If you need help with making a character\, our friendly DM will happily work with you to create your own character sheet or provide you a premade one. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \nWhat you will be using: Participants will be using character sheets\, and character models. \nWhat you should bring: Participants will need to bring their own dice (or can purchase dice at the store for 15% off)\, bring their own snacks and drinks (if they wish to have some munchies)\, and are encouraged to bring their own models if they have them. \nUpon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out.
