SUMMARY:Game Night: A Very Fey Drag Dungeons & Dragons
DESCRIPTION:Adventurers! Join us for a fun and fantastical one shot D&D campaign\, facilitated by a magically whimsical Drag Dungeon Master. We embrace the quirky\, the chaotic\, and the downright silly. No experience necessary\, we welcome players of all skill levels. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \n🐲 Players will be playing the one shot The Solstice Gala: Welcome\, Dear Players\, to the Seelie court’s Solstice Gala! Perhaps you’re a ranger or warlock who has harbored favor with an Archfey. Maybe you’re a native to the Fey wild looking to celebrate the Endless Sun. It’s possible\, even\, that you’re a mortal who has been whisked away and replaced by a changeling… who forgot they had a ticket to the Seelie Court’s largest party and now you’re filling their seat. Whatever the reason\, you have earned your way into Titania’s banquet celebrating the Fey Solstice\, when the Seelie Court welcomes continuous sun for the next century (in Fey time\, of course). Chaos is sure to ensue– it’s the Feywild\, after all. \nWe will be playing a fully home brewed one shot in D&D 5e with an emphasis on roleplaying. Characters are welcome to be any level 5-8 and we will be using the point buy system to build our sheets. While it may be tempting to play a level 8 bard with max charisma for a social one shot\, remember playing a low level fighter who can’t string elegance together to save their life might bring its own unique challenges and fun. We welcome you to the Feywild and hope you try the food and enjoy your stay! \n \n✒️ Upon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out. She started playing with 3.5 and has maintained a more analog style of play\, often resorting to pencil and paper even in their online games. Having a degree in Theatre\, Pompton! enjoys delving into character psyche and building narrative informed by her PCs’ stories and motivations. She recognizes the limitations of D&D and welcomes the rule of cool\, so swing for the fences. After hearing of Eclectic Boutique’s hunt for a drag DM\, Pompton! Our classroom has a handwash sink\, access to outlets\, wifi\, some tools and art supplies if you need anything to supplement your work. No experience necessary\, we welcome players of all skill levels. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \n🐲 Players will be playing the one shot: Heist Heist Baby!: In the bustling city of Waterdeep\, a shadowy underworld criminal known as Valerius Nightshadeseeks the ultimate prize: the Heart of Ice\, a priceless blue diamond. To secure this coveted gem\, he assembles a team of skilled individuals\, each with their own unique talents and secrets. Together\, this team of rogues and misfits must overcome personal conflicts and trust issues to accomplish their daring mission. Will they succeed in their audacious heist\, or will the secrets that bind them lead to their undoing? \n    \n✒️ Upon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out. This allows you to directly speak with the DM and establish what you are comfortable with in a Dungeons and Dragons game. \n🎨 What Will I Be Using?\nParticipants will be using character sheets\, dice and character models. \n🎁 What Should I Bring?\nParticipants will need to bring their own dice (or can purchase dice at the store for 15% off)\, and are encouraged to bring their own models if they have them. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Teens aged 16+ and Adults to participate in. \n🧑‍🏫 Who is Running this session?\nYour Dungeon Master is Carrie Lowther. \n \nI have been an artist for as long as I can remember\, transitioning into digital art world well over a decade ago. I’m largely self-taught and in addition to being a digital artist\, I am dungeon master for D&D. I’ve been doing that for a few years and love to let my players do some truly off the wall stuff. Between teaching and being a dungeon master\, I believe that people should be able to just throw themselves into whatever they are doing and enjoy what they create/discover.
