Participants will learn how to craft one-of-a-kind holiday gift tags using decorative papers\, markers\, gel pens as well as stencils and sentiment embellishments. All materials are included.  \n___ \nPARTICIPATION \nThis is a hybrid class. Participants can join this class either In Person or Virtually over Zoom. \nIN PERSON: Takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class. \nVIRTUAL: Takes place online live using Zoom. Participants will receive a link in their ticket and a DIY Kit. Participants are required to register at least a week in advance to reserve materials for shipping or local curbside pick up.  \nAPPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION  \nThis class is appropriate for Adults\, Teens\, and Children to participate in. DESCRIPTION:In this class\, you will learn how to crochet a beautiful scarf using the corner-to-corner (C2C) technique. This technique is easy to learn and can be used to create a variety of projects\, from scarves to blankets. Our experienced instructor will teach you the C2C technique in detail\, and you will have the opportunity to practice your skills during the class. We highly recommend having some crochet experience for this class\, knowing how to slip stitch\, single crochet and double crochet.  \nYou will be able to crochet a beautiful scarf that you can wear with pride. You will also have the skills to create other C2C projects\, such as blankets\, afghans\, and dishcloths. \nParticipants must bring their own yarn and crochet hook. Four skeins of yarn of your choice\, different colors. Or\, alternatively\, you can use scraps of yarn leftover from other projects. DESCRIPTION:Learn mixed media art and collage techniques in this fun Artist Trading Card workshop. As part of the “Mini-Masterpiece” series you will learn mixed media processes using paper\, paint\, stamps\, stencils and fabric to create small pieces of art that are no larger than a playing card (2 ½ x 3 ½). Here’s a great way to make one-of-a-kind- art pieces with all those playing cards laying around your drawers. You will have the opportunity to make as many cards as time allows and afterwards you can keep them for yourself\, give as gifts or trade them with other artists in the community.
