DESCRIPTION:Learn mixed media art and collage techniques in this fun Artist Trading Card workshop. As part of the “Mini-Masterpiece” series you will learn mixed media processes using paper\, paint\, stamps\, stencils and fabric to create small pieces of art that are no larger than a playing card (2 ½ x 3 ½). Here’s a great way to make one-of-a-kind- art pieces with all those playing cards laying around your drawers. You will have the opportunity to make as many cards as time allows and afterwards you can keep them for yourself\, give as gifts or trade them with other artists in the community. Grab your wackiest decks and that bag of dice you use to track +1/+1 counters\, and get ready for the kinds bonds and memories that can only be forged across the gaming table! \nThis game session is also LGBTQAI+ and Neurodiverse Friendly. \nBe aware: While Commander is considered MtG’s most casual format\, that doesn’t make it the Simplest format. DESCRIPTION:The age range of this game has been changed to include teens and adults! \nAdventurers! Join us for a fun and fantastical one shot D&D campaign. We embrace the quirky\, the chaotic\, and the downright silly. Expect unexpected twists and hilarious roleplaying moments. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a curious newcomer\, come join the fun! No experience is necessary\, and we welcome players of all skill levels. If you need help with making a character\, our friendly DM will happily work with you to create your own character sheet or provide you a premade one. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. This is a safe space for all\, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. \nWhat you will be using: Participants will be using character sheets\, and character models. \nWhat you should bring: Participants will need to bring their own dice (or can purchase dice at the store for 15% off)\, bring their own snacks and drinks (if they wish to have some munchies)\, and are encouraged to bring their own models if they have them. \nUpon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out. SUMMARY:Procreate 101: Digital Art Made Easy
DESCRIPTION:Jump into Procreate! This beginner workshop covers the essentials: interface walkthrough (canvas\, tools\, menus)\, essential gestures (undo/redo\, zoom\, etc.)\, and core tools: brushes\, colors\, eraser\, layers. Learn to work with layers (add\, merge\, opacity)\, master color selection & palettes\, and explore basic brush techniques (shading\, texture) and quick effects (alpha lock\, clipping masks\, gradients). Bring your iPad and stylus – no experience needed! \nWhat you will need to bring: Participants will have to bring their own iPad and Apple Pencil. It is recommended to have a way to write notes (for example on your phone or bring a notebook and pen). \n___ \nPARTICIPATION \nThis In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ.
