SUMMARY:Corner to Corner Crochet Scarf Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this class\, you will learn how to crochet a beautiful scarf using the corner-to-corner (C2C) technique. This technique is easy to learn and can be used to create a variety of projects\, from scarves to blankets. Our experienced instructor will teach you the C2C technique in detail\, and you will have the opportunity to practice your skills during the class. We highly recommend having some crochet experience for this class\, knowing how to slip stitch\, single crochet and double crochet.  \nYou will be able to crochet a beautiful scarf that you can wear with pride. You will also have the skills to create other C2C projects\, such as blankets\, afghans\, and dishcloths. \nParticipants must bring their own yarn and crochet hook. Four skeins of yarn of your choice\, different colors. Or\, alternatively\, you can use scraps of yarn leftover from other projects. Bring a crochet hook of appropriate size for your yarn.  \nOur experienced instructor will review the basics of C2C crochet\, including how to: \n\nChain stitch\nSingle crochet\nDouble crochet\nWork in rows and columns\nChange colors \n\nBy the end of the course\, you will have: \n\nLearned the basics of C2C crochet*Created your own beautiful and unique scarf\nGained the confidence to crochet other projects\n\nThis class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to crochet or who wants to improve their crochet skills. You’ll learn the art of cold process soap making\, where you’ll transform simple ingredients like shea butter\, oils\, and lye into beautiful\, fragrant bars of soap. \nOur experienced soap maker will guide you through: \n\nThe basics of saponification – Understanding the chemical reaction that turns oils into soap.\nEssential safety tips and practices for handling lye.\nLearn how to add your own scent and color\n\nThis workshop is ideal for: \n\nSoap enthusiasts: Dive deeper into the world of soap making.\nHobbyists: Discover a rewarding new creative outlet.\nAspiring entrepreneurs: Gain the foundational knowledge to start your own soap business.\n\nEach participant will create 3 pounds of their own handcrafted soap to take home and cure. \n___ \nPARTICIPATION \nThis In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. \nAPPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION  \nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 16 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.  \nCANCELATION & RESCHEDULING \nIt is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified. \nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class.
