SUMMARY:3D Origami Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Take your folding skills to the next dimension! Unlike traditional origami\, 3D origami (also known as Golden Venture folding) involves assembling many small\, interlocking “units” to create sturdy\, intricate sculptures. Our instructor will walk you through step by step to help you enjoy this deeply rewarding blend of paper folding and 3D puzzle building. \n \n🎨 What Will I Make in the Class?\nEach participant will make one to two individual origami creations. \n🎁 What Will I Take Home?\nAt the end of the class\, each participant will take home their two origami creations. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. \n🧑‍🏫 Who is teaching this class?\nItoko Kobayashi\nWhen I became a mom more than 20 years ago\, I set out to create my own world through my art. I love to share my knowledge with those I teach and I want all of my students to enjoy their time with me. If we as the Organizers need to cancel or reschedule an event participants will be notified of any changes using the contact info provided to us in the ticket purchase.\nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. DESCRIPTION:Step away from the screen and into a community built for local artists. Join us for a monthly meetup built for creatives who want more than just “likes.” This club is a hub for inspiration and artistic growth. We’re moving past social media to create a physical space where artists can collaborate on new ventures\, share artistic skills\, and potentially find opportunities within our own community. \nCome for the inspiration\, stay for the partnership and support. This event is LGBTQAI+ and Neurodiverse Friendly. \nWe welcome artists in all kinds of mediums like drawing\, digital art\, painting\, crocheting\, embroidery\, sewing\, jewelry making\, and more! \n \n🎒 What Do I need to Bring?\nBring any art supplies you like to use or a project you are working on. Our classroom has a handwash sink\, access to outlets\, wifi\, some tools and art supplies if you need anything to supplement your work. If you don’t have a project or art supplies we have DIY Art Kits available for purchase and some art supplies in our studio. \n🎨 When Will the Club Meet?\nJoin us on the last Wednesday of every month. \n📱How Will The Club Stay in Contact?\nWe use Discord as our main HQ for updates and contests.
