Ikebana is a discipline that goes beyond simply placing flowers in a container—it is a meditative practice that emphasizes nature\, balance\, and minimalism. \nIn this special Valentine’s  Day workshop\, we explore the connection between the heart and the hearth. By focusing on line\, form\, and color\, you will learn to express the delicate beauty of love through simple\, intentional design. \n \n🎨 What Will I Make in the Class?\nEach participant will make one flower arrangement. \n🎁 What Will I Take Home?\nAt the end of the class\, each participant will take home their flower arrangement to display and enjoy. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. \n🧑‍🏫 Who is teaching this class?\nItoko Kobayashi\nWhen I became a mom more than 20 years ago\, I set out to create my own world through my art. I love to share my knowledge with those I teach and I want all of my students to enjoy their time with me. I love it when my students get to bring home something one of a kind at the end of every workshop. \n🗺️ Where Does This Class Take Place?\nThis In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. \n🧋 Can I Bring a Beverage or a Snack?\nThis is a short class and there will be lots of foliage clippings so best not to bring any food. \n🚗 Where Do I Park?\nWe recommend parking in either the Maple Place Lot\, located around the corner from the shop\, or the Midtown Deck at 202 Glenridge Avenue Montclair. SUMMARY:Gemstone Wire Wrapping Rings Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop you will learn how to make beautiful crystal rings using two different types of bead wire and genuine crystals. Your instructor will guide you in how to size your ring\, how to use beading wire\, and how to wrap and finish your ring. Your instructor will also discuss the properties of the crystals you are using. \n \n🎨 What Will I Make in the Class?\nEach participant will have made at least 3 rings by the end of our time together \n🎁 What Will I Take Home?\nAt the end of the class\, each participant will take home their wire wrapped rings. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 15 years old and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. \n🧑‍🏫 Who is teaching this class?\nJuanita Martin \nCombining my background in fashion design with a lifelong love of crochet\, I create unique “Confetti Jewelry” using wire\, crystals\, and gemstones. My work is inspired by nature and geometry\, serving as a textural tool for communication between the artist and the wearer. As a Reiki Master and sound therapist\, I cleanse and infuse every piece with healing energy so that my clients both look and feel great. I also offer signature wire-wrapped gemstone lines and custom designs tailored to individual needs. You’ll learn the basics of soap making\, including how to use your melt and pour the soap base\, how to choose the right ingredients to add to your soap base\, adding colors and fragrances\, and using fun molds. By the end of the class\, you’ll have created your own unique soaps to take home and enjoy. \nThis class is a great way to learn a new skill\, relax and de-stress\, and create something beautiful. It’s also a great option for team building\, bachelorette parties\, or other special occasions.
