SUMMARY:Japanese Flower Arranging Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Step into the art of Japanese flower arranging\, or ikebana. Ikebana is a discipline that goes beyond simply placing flowers in a container. Emphasizing nature\, balance\, and minimalism\, it is a meditative practice that focuses on line\, form\, and color. You’ll learn the fundamental principles of this beautiful practice\, gaining a deep appreciation for nature and simplicity. \nWhat you will be using in class: Participants will be provided with fresh flowers\, a vase or dish\, a flower frog\, scissors\, and wire. You don’t need to bring a thing—just your creativity! \nWhat you will make and take home: At the end of the class\, each participant will take home their flower arrangement to display and enjoy. \n___ \nPARTICIPATION \nThis In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. \nAPPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION  \nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.  \nCANCELATION & RESCHEDULING \nIt is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified. \nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. SUMMARY:Cricut Basics Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Unlock your crafting potential in this hands-on Cricut Basics Workshop! You’ll learn the fundamentals of operating a Cricut cutting machine\, focusing on creating custom stickers and personalized vinyl decals. We’ll start with a print-and-cut demonstration for stickers. Next\, gain hands-on experience with vinyl: watch the machine cut\, then practice weeding (peeling) and applying the transfer sheet to create your own custom decal. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new hobby or be inspired to start your own home business. \nParticipants will be provided: vinyl sheets\, sticker paper\, printer \nParticipants will need to bring: their own Cricut Machine (Joy\, Explorer or Maker)\, and ensure it is in working order\, a laptop\, weeding tools\, and a green cutting mat \nParticipants will take home: A sticker and a vinyl decal  \n___ \nPARTICIPATION \nThis In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ.
