Whether you’re drawn to the charm of a whimsical mushroom\, delicate cherry blossom\, or buzzing bumblebee\, you’ll bring your favorite springtime motif to life in stunning stained glass. \nIn this 3-hour class\, you’ll learn every step of the stained glass-making process:\n🌸 Cut glass into intricate shapes.\n🌸 Grind your pieces for smooth\, precise edges.\n🌸 Foil your design to prepare it for soldering.\n🌸 Solder your piece into a beautiful\, polished work of art. \nPerfect for beginners and seasoned creators alike\, this workshop provides all the tools\, materials\, and guidance you need to make your own stained glass piece\, the perfect way to bring spring into your home \nWhat you will be using in class: Participants will be using a variety of teacher-supplied tools and materials including glass\, glass cutters\, pliers\, safety goggles/masks\, glass grinders\, and soldering irons. \nWhat participants need to prepare: Participants don’t need to bring anything\, however it’s strongly recommended to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Participants will be given disposable masks for the soldering portion\, but can bring their own face masks if they’d like. SUMMARY:Artist Trading Card Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn mixed media art and collage techniques in this fun Artist Trading Card workshop. As part of the “Mini-Masterpiece” series you will learn mixed media processes using paper\, paint\, stamps\, stencils and fabric to create small pieces of art that are no larger than a playing card (2 ½ x 3 ½). Here’s a great way to make one-of-a-kind- art pieces with all those playing cards laying around your drawers. You will have the opportunity to make as many cards as time allows and afterwards you can keep them for yourself\, give as gifts or trade them with other artists in the community.
