SUMMARY:Corner to Corner Crochet Scarf Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this class\, you will learn how to crochet a beautiful scarf using the corner-to-corner (C2C) technique. This technique is easy to learn and can be used to create a variety of projects\, from scarves to blankets. Our experienced instructor will teach you the C2C technique in detail\, and you will have the opportunity to practice your skills during the class. We highly recommend having some crochet experience for this class\, knowing how to slip stitch\, single crochet and double crochet.  \nYou will be able to crochet a beautiful scarf that you can wear with pride. You will also have the skills to create other C2C projects\, such as blankets\, afghans\, and dishcloths. \nParticipants must bring their own yarn and crochet hook. Four skeins of yarn of your choice\, different colors. Or\, alternatively\, you can use scraps of yarn leftover from other projects. Bring a crochet hook of appropriate size for your yarn.  \nOur experienced instructor will review the basics of C2C crochet\, including how to: \n\nChain stitch\nSingle crochet\nDouble crochet\nWork in rows and columns\nChange colors \n\nBy the end of the course\, you will have: \n\nLearned the basics of C2C crochet*Created your own beautiful and unique scarf\nGained the confidence to crochet other projects\n\nThis class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to crochet or who wants to improve their crochet skills. You will start making the scarf in the class\, but you will complete it on your own. \n___ \nHOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS \nIn Person Class session takes place at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. Participants must bring their own yarn and crochet hook. Four skeins of yarn of your choice\, different colors. Or\, alternatively\, you can use scraps of yarn leftover from other projects. Bring a crochet hook of appropriate size for your yarn. \nParticipants will have finished a partial scarf during the class. Participants will be expected to finish the scarf at home\, or may request a follow up session with the teacher. \nAPPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION  \nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.  \nCLASS PARTICIPATION \nParticipants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee\, and participants will be notified of any changes. \nCANCELATION & RESCHEDULING \nIt is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified. \nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class.
