DESCRIPTION:Learn how to paint in watercolor! This class will introduce beginners and experienced artists to the beauty and exploration of this versatile medium. Ken will guide you through various watercolor techniques\, tools\, and materials\, providing step-by-step demonstrations and personalized feedback. You’ll create an 8×10 masterpiece while learning to achieve different forms\, textures\, and volumes through subtle control of water\, pigment\, and brushes. \nWhat you’ll discover: \n\nMaster the basics of watercolors: Explore washes\, textures & brushwork to create beautiful effects.\nPaint a captivating bird: Learn techniques for capturing feathers\, form\, and personality.\nUnleash your creativity: Experiment with color palettes and styles to personalize your artwork.\n\nWhy this workshop is for you: \n\nBeginners welcome: No prior experience needed\, just a love for birds and a desire to create!\nTake flight with your skills: Refine your watercolor techniques or discover them for the first time.\nA unique and rewarding experience: Leave class with a one-of-a-kind bird painting – perfect for display or gifting!\n\n___ \n  \nHOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS \nThis class is available to take either: \n\nIn Person at The Eclectic Chic Boutique at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair\, NJ \nOnline Virtually on Zoom. \n\nIN PERSON CLASS \nIn Person Class session takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave\, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class\, or can choose to bring their own to use instead. \nVIRTUAL CLASS \nVirtual Classes take place online using Zoom. Participants will receive a link to participate live in the class and a DIY Kit in the mail. Virtual Class participants are required to register at least a week or earlier in advance to reserve materials for shipping or local curbside pick up. \nDIY Kit includes: 8×10 watercolor paper\, watercolor paint\, and paint brushes \nParticipants can use either the DIY kit or their own materials. \nAPPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION \nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least  13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.  \nCANCELATION & RESCHEDULING \nIt is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee\, and participants will be notified of any changes \nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund. \nVirtual Classes are Live and there is no recording provided. If a participant is unable to attend they must contact us for options. If the Participant booked a “Virtual Class with DIY Kit” they are eligible for a reschedule only.  \nThere is a $25 rescheduling fee to reschedule a class. Participants are responsible for any duty fees\, customs fees\, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits.
