DESCRIPTION:Do you know the significance of a Tree of Life? Are you attracted to specific gemstones? In this class we will answer both of those questions and so any more. In this jewelry making class you will not only design\, but also create 2 distinct tree of life pendants in this class using beads\, gemstones and wire. \nAll materials and tools will be supplied. \n \n What Will I Make in the Class?\nParticipants will make 2 tree of life pendants. \n What Will I Take Home?\nParticipants will take home the 2 pendants they made. \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Teens aged 18+ and Adults to participate in. \n Who is teaching this class?\nJuanita Martin \n \nCombining my background in fashion design with a lifelong love of crochet\, I create unique “Confetti Jewelry” using wire\, crystals\, and gemstones. My work is inspired by nature and geometry\, serving as a textural tool for communication between the artist and the wearer. As a Reiki Master and sound therapist\, I cleanse and infuse every piece with healing energy so that my clients both look and feel great. I also offer signature wire-wrapped gemstone lines and custom designs tailored to individual needs. Whether through my finished jewelry or my holistic workshops\, my mission is to share positive energy and artistic beauty. \n🗺️ Where Does This Class Take Place?\nThis In Person Class takes place at Lovlee Art Studio located at 172 Broad St\, Bloomfield\, NJ 07003. \n🍿 Can I Bring a Beverage or a Snack?\nYes \n🚗 Where Do I Park?\nParking is located across the street in the Board of Ed lot and there is street parking. \n📅 What Happens If I Need to Cancel?\nIt is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to cancel or reschedule an event participants will be notified of any changes using the contact info provided to us in the ticket purchase. \nParticipants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. SUMMARY:Transition Your Wardrobe Sewing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us and learn basic sewing and design techniques to update your wardrobe to match your gender identity and style! Learning to sew is a great life skill to have\, you can make your own repairs and adjustments\, as well as repurpose old clothes to turn them into one of a kind fashion. No sewing experience necessary. Bring one piece of clothing you would like to upcycle. If you have a sewing machine or sewing needles and materials from home you want to use you are welcome to bring in and use during this session. We will have some sewing materials and tools on hand for you to use and get creative. Allies are also welcome to join. \nThis event is in partnership with Out Montclair. Visit https://outmontclair.org/ to learn more about their mission. \n   \n🎨 What Will I Make in the Class?\nParticipants will upcycle a piece of clothing they bring in for the workshop \n🛍️What should I bring?\nParticipants should bring one piece of clothing. Optionally participants can bring any additional fabric\, clothing\, buttons\, or embellishments that they want to use as part of their project. Participants can also bring any sewing tools or a sewing machine that they own and is in working condition. \n🎁 What Will I Take Home?\nOne piece of clothing they you upcycled during the class \n👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?\nThis class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 14 years old or older and can work independently.
