Cold Process Soap Making Workshop

Do you dream of creating luxurious, scented, all natural soaps? This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners! You’ll learn the art of cold process soap making, where you’ll transform simple ingredients like shea butter, oils, and lye into beautiful, fragrant bars of soap.

Our experienced soap maker will guide you through:

• The basics of saponification – Understanding the chemical reaction that turns oils into soap.
• Essential safety tips and practices for handling lye.
• Learn how to add your own scent and color

This workshop is ideal for:

• Soap enthusiasts: Dive deeper into the world of soap making.
• Hobbyists: Discover a rewarding new creative outlet.
• Aspiring entrepreneurs: Gain the foundational knowledge to start your own soap business.

Each participant will create 3 pounds of their own handcrafted soap to take home and cure.

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 16 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
