Class Policies
CLASS PAYMENTS
Class policies for classes that are on our monthly Schedule, participants pay online in full in advance to secure their spot. Private Classes that contain 1 to 7 participants must be paid in full in advance to book their desired date and time. Private Classes that have 8 or more participants have the option to put down a 50% deposit to secure the date and time of the class. The remaining balance is due the day of the event. Virtual Classes that contain 1 to 7 participants are subject to a shipping fee for each DIY Kit shipped. For Virtual Classes that are 8 participants or more shipping is free.
​For payment options we except Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, ACH or Afterpay. Payments for Classes on our monthly Schedule are processed using our ticket software. Private classes are processed using an electronic invoice. For Private classes that request putting down a deposit, we only accept Credit Card, Debit Card, or ACH as payment. Hosts have 5 days to pay their invoices to book their date. We do not accept personal checks. If a payment fails the Host is informed and must process the payment in order for the class to be booked. Failure to pay will result in the class being canceled. If their is a balance that isn't paid on the day of the event, The Eclectic Chic Boutique reserves the right to run the credit card that was saved to the Host's account in our invoice system.
CANCELATION
Participants or the Host of a Private group class must give notice of class cancelation to The Eclectic Chic Boutique in the form of an email, text, or phone call.
Participants who purchase a class on our Class Schedule are eligible to a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or a opportunity to apply credit to a future class. Private In Person Classes that are canceled 24 hours or less in advance of a class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.
Private In Person Classes that are canceled 7 days before their booked date are eligible for a full refund or a opportunity to reschedule their date. Private In Person Classes that are canceled 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or a opportunity to reschedule their date. Private In Person Classes that are canceled 24 hours or less in advance of a class are not eligible for a refund and would need to pay a $25 fee to reschedule their class date.
Private Virtual Classes that are canceled 10 days before their booked date are eligible for a full refund or opportunity to reschedule their date so long as no DIY Kits have been shipped. Private Virtual Classes are not entitled to a refund of DIY Kits have already shipped and are in transit, but are eligible to reschedule their date. Private Virtual classes that are canceled 6 days or less in advance of a class are not eligible for a refund and would need to pay a $25 fee to reschedule their class date.
The Eclectic Chic Boutique reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason should we feel that the we are unable to fulfill the class or due to disputes with the host or venue. The Host may be eligible to a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
LATE ARRIVALS & NO SHOWS
If a participant for a Private or Scheduled In Person class and is going to arrive late, the participant must contact us to inform us of lateness. If a participant does not arrive within the first 20 minutes the class start time and we have not been informed of the participant's ETA then the participant is considered a No Show and the class is canceled. Participants who are No Shows are not eligible for a refund or a class credit.
If a Virtual Class participant is logging on late or is having technical difficulties, the participant must contact us to inform us of lateness. If a virtual class participant does not log on within the first 20 minutes of the class start time and we have not been informed of the participant's situation then the participant is considered a No Show and the class is canceled. Virtual Class Participants who are No Shows are not eligible for a refund or a class credit.
The Host of a group class (In Person or Virtual) is responsible for updating The Eclectic Chic Boutique on their class participation or attendance. If a group class has individuals who do not attend, the Host is not eligible for a refund unless this was disclosed at least a week in advance. For Virtual classes, if a host makes adjustments after DIY Kits have been shipped, the host is not entitled to a refund.
RESCHEDULING
To reschedule a Private Class, the participant must submit a reschedule request in the form of an email or phone call. Private Classes that are rescheduled up to 72 hours before a class date and time are given one free reschedule. Classes that are requesting a reschedule 24 hours or less of a class date and time are subject to a $25 reschedule fee. Classes that involve fresh/perishable food are subject to a $35 rescheduling fee.
​If a Virtual class needs to be rescheduled due to DIY Kit shipping being delayed no reschedule fee will be applied.
DIY KITS FOR VIRTUAL CLASSES
We ship out DIY Kits for Virtual Classes on our schedule and Private Virtual Classes so that they arrive a few days before the class date.
Hosts for private classes are responsible for providing accurate shipping information for their participants. We verify addresses before shipping to ensure accuracy. If an address is unable to be verified we inform the host. If the host confirms that the address is correct we can override the verification. Host and participants will be provided with tracking information. If a DIY Kit is returned to us because of a wrong address there is a $25 fee to reship the kit. In the event a kit is "lost" or is unable to be tracked, the host can request a replacement kit for a $45 fee. ​
During peak holiday seasons we ask hosts of private classes to consider expedited shipping when possible. Expedited shipping will incur an additional fee.
