ECB After School Enrichment Art Programs

The Eclectic Chic Boutique is proud to announce the triumphant return of our After School Enrichment Art Programs! For those unfamiliar with our organization: The ECB represents dozens of local artists, artisans, and small businesses, providing them a venue and central hub to both sell their wares and host events. The types of crafters we represent include Jewelry Makers, Knitters and Crocheters, Origami Artists, and even Puppet Makers! Many of our members are not only talented artists, but also friendly and encouraging teachers.

Through our After School Enrichment Art Programs, these same artists and crafters provide on-location art sessions to schools throughout Essex County, teaching the very skills they’ve spent a lifetime mastering. With lesson plans available for any age and skill level, these programs offer students an outlet to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and make new friends in a safe and structured environment.

We currently offer the following programs:

• Jewelry Making
• Fizz, Foam, Fun: Self Care Crafts
• Crocheting
• Knitting
• Origami
• Sewing & Fabric Arts
• Intro to Puppetry
• Storytelling Through Puppetry

The individual skills targeted and developed by each course is highlighted in their description. Some of these skills include:

• Fine Motor Skills
• Pattern Recognition
• Patience and Focus

Classes range from 4 to 9 weeks, and cater students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Projects are adjusted based on age and skill level, and all materials will be provided.
