Crafty: A Pride Craft Night

Crafty is like a paint and sip, but even draggier! It’s a space to work on a craft project, mingle with other crafters, and to enjoy some fierce drag. With stations for bedazzling, sketching, and sewing, you can bring a project of your own or find one here. Add some sparkle to your wardrobe, create a headpiece, fix a hole in a shirt, the world is your oyster. Plus, local crafty drag queen Mora Monáe will be hosting, performing, and crafting with you!

🎨 What Will I Make in the Class?
Each participant will make whatever craft they would like to make.

🎁 What Will I Take Home?
At the end of the class, each participant will take home whatever they decide to “draggify”.

👪 What Age Group Can Participate In This Class?
This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

🧑‍🏫 Who is teaching this class?
Mora Monáe

Mora Monáe is a Jersey drag queen who has been performing and producing events for 5 years. Her aesthetic bounces between a monochrome deity and a rocker chic. Crafting and creating are central to her drag, as she makes and modifies everything herself. Her favorite color is leopard print.

🗺️ Where Does This Class Take Place?
This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.

You’re welcome to do so.

🚗 Where Do I Park?
We recommend parking in either the Maple Place Lot, located around the corner from the shop, or the Midtown Deck at 202 Glenridge Avenue Montclair. You can find more parking options on https://montclaircenter.com/parking/

📅 What Happens If I Need to Cancel?
It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to cancel or reschedule an event participants will be notified of any changes using the contact info provided to us in the ticket purchase.
Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If a participant cancels the day of the class or does not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
