Origami Basics Workshop

Learn how to turn simple sheets of paper into beautiful folded works of art. Origami is the traditional Japanese paper folding art that is also a relaxing meditative activity for kids and adults. Participants will create a variety of traditional origami pieces and animal designs, including the iconic crane. The instructor will show you step by step how to read an origami diagram and how to fold the paper to create each design.

What you will use: colored origami paper

What you take home: 10 individual origami creations.

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
