Judy Dorphley

Judy started sewing doll clothes when she was 8 or 9, and around the same time her aunt taught her how to knit. In sixth grade, she took a sewing machine class, which formed the basis of all of her creativity today. When she re-joined the work force, after having children, she started sewing some of her clothes to wear to work. About twenty years ago, she taught herself to crochet because she felt she was missing something. When she began working with The Eclectic Chic Boutique, she and Kristen felt her skills could be used in teaching the techniques, methods, and creativity that she developed over her sixty years of sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She has been teaching at ECB for five years and enjoys sharing the skills and lessons she has learned so that in her classes everyone can create, explore and have FUN!
