Ordinary Magic

Description

In this collection, Niesha Taylor is exploring how she feels awake and aware of magical things all around. Her poetry is a walk through her realization that magical moments have been in her life from the very start. She pulls us in close to share her view of ordinary magic, and to remind us to pause long enough to look for it right in front of us. To offer additional shape to the work, she pulls on tarot archetypes to mark each section. The artwork, tarot and otherwise, is also created by Taylor, original wood burnings that jump in here and there for emphasis and just for the joy of it.
