This comprehensive workshop equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to transform this powerful cutting tool into your creative partner, opening doors to a world of endless possibilities.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, this workshop is perfect for you! We’ll guide you through every step of the process, from setting up your Cricut machine to choosing materials and designing your projects.
Participants will need to bring their own Cricut Machine (Joy, Explorer or Maker), and ensure it is in working order, a laptop, weeding tools, a green cutting mat, a blank mug, and a blank t-shirt to participate.
In this exciting workshop, you’ll:
- Set up a project in Design Space
- Learn how to use Shapes and Text
- How to cut using your machine and cutting mat
- How to weed using Cricut tools
- How to apply vinyl to your mug
- How to apply HTV to tee shirt and use a heat press (provided by the teacher to use for class)
By the end of this workshop, you’ll:
- Operate your Cricut machine with confidence and ease.
- Develop basic design skills and explore Cricut Design Space like a pro.
- Craft personalized and unique projects that reflect your style.
- Experience the joy of creating and the satisfaction of seeing your vision come to life.
No prior Cricut experience is necessary! Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you have a fun and successful learning experience.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS
This class is available to take In Person our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. Materials will be provided at the shop. Participants must provide their own working Cricut Joy, Explore, or Maker machine, weeding tools, green cutting mat, a blank mug, and blank t-shirt in order to participate.Â
NOTE: Class will only use default assets from Design Space program, no personal projects or images please.
APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATIONÂ
This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 15 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.Â
CLASS PARTICIPATION
Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.
CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
