Japanese Flower Arranging Workshop

Step into the art of Japanese flower arranging, or ikebana. Ikebana is a discipline that goes beyond simply placing flowers in a container. Emphasizing nature, balance, and minimalism, it is a meditative practice that focuses on line, form, and color. You’ll learn the fundamental principles of this beautiful practice, gaining a deep appreciation for nature and simplicity.

What you will be using in class: Participants will be provided with fresh flowers, a vase or dish, a flower frog, scissors, and wire. You don’t need to bring a thing—just your creativity!

What you will make and take home: At the end of the class, each participant will take home their flower arrangement to display and enjoy.

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
