Sewing Machine Basics for Kids Age 8 to 12

Dive into the colorful world of sewing with your little fashionista in our fun and engaging Sewing Machine Basics workshop! Perfect for curious minds and creative fingers aged 8-12, this workshop will equip young explorers with the essential skills to transform fabric into awesome creations! 

In this exciting adventure, your child will:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This class is available to take In Person at our Shop at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042. Participants must provide their own sewing machine and ensure that it is in working condition, along with thread, bobbins, and the machine’s instruction manual. Fabrics will be provided for participants to use during the class.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Children aged 8 to 12 years old, and who can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CLASS PARTICIPATION

Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
