Spring Stained Glass Suncatcher Workshop

Get ready for spring with a hands-on stained glass workshop where you’ll craft your own sparkly suncatcher inspired by budding flora and fauna. Whether you’re drawn to the charm of a whimsical mushroom, delicate cherry blossom, or buzzing bumblebee, you’ll bring your favorite springtime motif to life in stunning stained glass.

In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn every step of the stained glass-making process:
Cut glass into intricate shapes.
Grind your pieces for smooth, precise edges.
Foil your design to prepare it for soldering.
Solder your piece into a beautiful, polished work of art.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned creators alike, this workshop provides all the tools, materials, and guidance you need to make your own stained glass piece, the perfect way to bring spring into your home

What you will be using in class: Participants will be using a variety of teacher-supplied tools and materials including glass, glass cutters, pliers, safety goggles/masks, glass grinders, and soldering irons.

What participants need to prepare: Participants don’t need to bring anything, however it’s strongly recommended to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Participants will be given disposable masks for the soldering portion, but can bring their own face masks if they’d like. This is a mostly standing activity

What you will make and take home: Each participant will be making one stained glass Suncatcher in the pattern of their choice

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 21 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
