Stained Glass Suncatcher Making Workshop

Celebrate the season of love with a hands-on stained glass workshop that will warm your heart and spark your creativity! In this Valentine’s Day themed class, you’ll learn the art of crafting beautiful stained glass pieces that shine with romantic charm. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll explore every step of the stained glass making process:

• Cut your glass into stunning shapes with precision.
• Grind your pieces to perfection for smooth, seamless edges.
• Foil your designs to prepare them for soldering.
• Solder your creation into a dazzling, finished work of art.

Choose from a two-tone heart or a mushroom with hearts; both in whichever colors you’d like. No matter what you choose you’ll take home a radiant stained glass piece that’s perfect as a gift for someone special—or as a heartfelt keepsake for yourself.

What you will be using in class: Participants will be using a variety of teacher-supplied tools and materials including glass, glass cutters, pliers, safety goggles/masks, glass grinders, and soldering irons.

What participants need to prepare: Participants don’t need to bring anything, however it’s strongly recommended to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Participants will be given disposable masks for the soldering portion, but can bring their own face masks if they’d like. This is a mostly standing activity.

What you will make and take home: Each participant will bring home one glass suncatcher

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 21

years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
