Xena (that’s me!) is dedicated to making wearable art accessible and creating statement pieces with big colors, lots of shimmer, and the joy of self-expression. I am a huge nerd, and between my creating can be found playing table top games, readings comics, and gaming. As an artist and an environmental scientist, I am passionate about creating pieces from donated, salvaged, and recycled materials- catch me out and about at garage sales, scouting for materials. I work with a dozen different resins, depending on need, and create many of my own molds through a process of 3D printing, acrylic cutting, and silicone pouring. My add-ins, like glitters, glass, plastic pieces, wood, and all sorts of craft materials are largely sourced for second-hand sources, as I work to keep the footprint of these pieces as low as possible.
