Artist Trading Card Workshop

Learn mixed media art and collage techniques in this fun Artist Trading Card workshop. As part of the “Mini-Masterpiece” series you will learn mixed media processes using paper, paint, stamps, stencils and fabric to create small pieces of art that are no larger than a playing card (2 ½ x 3 ½). Here’s a great way to make one-of-a-kind- art pieces with all those playing cards laying around your drawers. You will have the opportunity to make as many cards as time allows and afterwards you can keep them for yourself, give as gifts or trade them with other artists in the community. All materials are supplied by the instructor.

What you will be using in class: Participants will be provided with playing cards, assorted decorative and painted paper and ephemera, paint, markers, stickers, stencils, fabric, glue, and scissors.

What you will make and take home: Each participant will make at least 3 cards or as many as they want during the time allotted.

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults, Kids and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 8 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
