Sew and Tell Workshop

This class will cover the basics of hand sewing then evolving into using a standard sewing machine. You will become familiar with different fabrics, notions & techniques while unlocking your individual creativity! Sewing isn’t just a hobby; it can save you money, can help relieve stress, unite likeminded people, lower your carbon footprint & vamp up your unique style.

Participants will be provided: Basic assorted sewing notions, assorted fabric, fabric shears, measuring tape, ruler

Participants will need to bring: Sewing machine, basic sewing kit containing sewing needles, thread, sewing pins or clips, pin cushion, a ruler, a thimble, non-stretch fabric, scissors & tailor’s chalk.

PARTICIPATION

This In Person Class takes place at The Eclectic Chic Boutique located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified.

Participants are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted up to 7 days in advance of the class date. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. If participants cancel the day of the class or do not show up during the class time they are ineligible for a refund.
